All Saints Regional Catholic School participates in the Catholic Middle School Athletic Association (CMSAA), a competitive athletic leagues affiliated with Catholic Schools located throughout the Diocese of Rockville Centre.

ASR ST.A.R.S. Middle School Sports Program

Our school is conducting a full sports program for the 2014 – 2015 school year, including Autumn, Winter and Spring programs.

In addition to the Middle School program, we are introducing some intramural programs for Grades 4 & 5.

We need assistance in running these programs.  Everybody is welcome, and it is essential that we fill these positions:

  • ASR league representative.  ASR teams play under the auspices of the Catholic Middle School Athletic Association (CMSAA).  The Association holds periodic meetings, and we are expected to send representatives when possible in order to facilitate communication between our program and the league.
  • Team coaches and assistant coaches.  These jobs may be filled by parents, guardians and other adults interested in helping our program.  Keep in mind that you don’t need to be a world class athlete or experienced coach;  you just need to be someone who will make themselves available to encourage our student athletes and give them the chance to have fun and take pride in playing for their school teams.
  • Team helpers.  Team helpers can include older siblings and high school-aged students, especially from among our Alumni!  Again, you don’t have to be athletic or experienced in sports, you just need to be willing to lend a hand to help our kids.

Please contact Robert Lynch with any and all suggestions or ideas to help our kids enjoy a good sports program.
